Website Hosting Packages
There is an endless array of website hosting packages available in today's market. The task of selecting the right
package to meets your needs can be quite daunting. Fortunately a few facts are true.
Heavy competition among the webhosting providers has served to achieve several benefits in favor of the
consumer.
-
Average prices have been forced to low levels by that competition
-
A wide range of features have become standard and are provided at no additional charge
-
Customer support is demanded by consumers and provided with most quality website hosting providers
-
System reliability has become essential to survival
-
User friendliness makes website hosting and publishing easy for the average consumer
I would like to provide an overview of a few of those many webhosting providers at your disposal. Most of
the packages suggested at this site are currently in use by me personally or have been thoroughly investigated by me. That's why I will not
expand my list to a greater number of website hosting providers.

I have no hesitation in proposing that you utilize the services of the web site hosting providers that I will be
talking about. There are many more but by reading here, I am assuming that you are making an effort to narrow down the huge list of choices. As
with any other statement of fact - someone will surely dispute it.
An example I could supply would reference one of these packages I currently host several blogs on. Some
blogging processes can be notorious for hogging server resources. When reading through the user forum at one of these providers I followed a
thread complaining they had experienced service interuptions due to excessive use of the server resources.
Some users were dismayed at that and wanted everyone else to raise hell and go elsewhere. I can speak from
experience. They are using inefficient applications and scripts that just overload the system. If I can operate a dozen blog sites within the
same hosting package - service is not an issue. So it goes in the information gateway!
Some packages have little plusses or little negatives but nothing significant. I really like GoDaddy for basic
websites. Easy upload and great resource space available. Nobody will surpass their customer service and I can host unlimited Domains (websites)
there.
I don't install blog websites there because I require a feature called Custom Cron Jobs that performs automatic
updated to my blog pages. That feature is not available so that is a small negative for me.
IX Webhosting speaks Quality in all regards - but with the deluxe package I subscribe to I, I am limited to 16
Domains with dedicated IP addresses. Their reliabilty, quality and customer support put them very high on my list though.
I have seen at Hostmonster a constant effort to improve speed, efficiency, customer support and ease of use. They
are continually moving up the ladder in the website hosting business.
You can't say much bad about Yahoo - they are big, resourcefull and they will always be there. They have the
resources to give you everything and give it to you at a good price.
Well I won't let all the cats out of the bag here. Check out the web hosting features and website hosting
reviews!
